John sent me this nice postcard from Indiana on July 13, 2010. John just had his eye sugery two weeks ago when he wrote me this postcard. He was struggling very much to write on this postcard because his vision was still blur..... I wish him to recover soon.

This postcard is from Arizona, USA, and postmarked on 29 August 2000. Showing in the postcard is Saguaro National Park. The park was established as Saguaro National Monument on 1 March 1933, and later changed to Saguaro National Park on 14 October 1994. The park gets its name from saguaro cactus which is native to this region. The park is a paradise for many cactus species.

This is one of the "old" postcards in my collection. Sometimes, it is warm to read the message on the postcard that was put down by the sender...... Kong is a Malaysian who graduated in 1995 and straight away stayed back in the US for work.... he lived in New York city....... At the same time, I just arrived at the UK for my postgraduate study....... Kong sent me (in the UK) this postcard from Long Island NY on 16 October 1995. Statue of Liberty is shown on the postcard..... it was a gift from the French to the Americans......
