Huldis sent me this wonderful postcard from Iceland. The postcard shows whale watching at Skjalfandi Bay off Husavik, north of Iceland. Huldis also said that there is Whale Museum in Husavik which is worth visiting. Date: 28 April 2008.
What a spectacular postcard with the view of Jokulsarlon. Jokulsarlon is a lagoon/lake formed by the gracier Vatnajokull. The lagoon/lake is extremely deep, about 190m. Sea water enters to the lagoon/lake by tides. Wildlife such as salmon, capelin, herring, Artic terns and Eider ducks are present at Jokulsarlon. This postcard was sent to me by Huldis who stuck plenty of stamps on the postcard. Absolutely fabulous! Date: 12 February 2008.

Huldis sent me this beautiful postcard from Reykjavik, Iceland on 21 January 2008. Reykjavik is the capital city of Iceland with a population of 117,000. Reykjavik is said the most northern capital city in the world. When I look at the view of Reykjavik in the postcard..... I feel so peaceful....
