Hi Ian, I sure would love to go to Vatican City one day. I’ve never been there before. I got more curious about this place when I watched the movies and read the novels by Dan Brown (Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, The Lost Symbol, etc). I found the exact same Vatican City stamp at an online stamp catalogue I always go to, and it was issued on August 30, 2013. It is entitled The Renaissance Popes - Julius II and Leo X. Apparently, the stamp you have here is Leo X.
