It is my pleasure to share with you the postcards that I've received all this while and also those I will be obtaining from time to time. All these postcards were personally stamped, addressed and posted to me from the country of origin.
Lemma sent me this postcard from Amman, Jordan on 2 April 1995. He followed his class to go to Jordan for an academic visit under his MSc course with the Reading University. Showing in the postcard is a Mehariste (camel cavalry).
I received this nice postcard from Joanna who lives in Wroclaw, Poland. The postcard shows the town hall of Wroclaw. I'm also delighted by the many stamps and nice/clear postmark on the card. Date: 11 February 2008.
Ann sent me this postcard from Norway. The postcard depicts Geirangerfjord of Geiranger. Geirangerfjord has been listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 2005. Date: 23 May 2000.

What a spectacular postcard with the view of Jokulsarlon. Jokulsarlon is a lagoon/lake formed by the gracier Vatnajokull. The lagoon/lake is extremely deep, about 190m. Sea water enters to the lagoon/lake by tides. Wildlife such as salmon, capelin, herring, Artic terns and Eider ducks are present at Jokulsarlon. This postcard was sent to me by Huldis who stuck plenty of stamps on the postcard. Absolutely fabulous! Date: 12 February 2008.
I received this postcard from Maria who works and lives in United Nations Vienna. Her home country is actually Guatemala, and from time to time she goes back to her home country for holiday. This postcard show the beautiful view (belvedere) of Vienna through a unique gate...... This postcard was actually posted through the United Nations Vienna postal system, therefore, it carries United Nations Vienna postage stamp and postmark. Date: 6 January 1998.
Estinda sent me this nice postcard from Ethiopia on 16 May 1998. The postcard shows the Blue Nile Falls which is a waterfall on Blue Nile river in Ethiopia. The waterfall is estimated 37 to 45m high.
This is a postcard from Eritrea with postmark date on 23 July 1998. Gebre sent me (in England) this postcard from Eritrea while he was back to home country for holiday. The postcard shows a married women of Rashaida. Rashaida is one of the 9 ethnic groups in Eritrea. The other 8 ethnic groups are Afar, Bilen, Hedareb, Kunama, Nara, Saho, Tigre and Tigrinya.
Kenan from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina sent me this nice postcard showing the city view of Sarajevo. Saravejo is the capital city of Bosnia and Hercegovina. Date: February 2008.
This is a postcard from Langkawi Islands posted on 25 September 2003. Located 30km off the mainland Peninsular Malaysia, Langkawi is an archipelago consisting 99 islands. It gained the UNESCO Geopark status in March 2007. Showing in the postcard is the paddy field at Kedawang village.
This beautiful postcard was posted to me from Tawau, Sabah on 12 May 1990. The postcard shows the coral at Police Beach of Gaya Island (Sabah). Gaya Island is about 10 minute off Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It is protected as part of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park.It is definitely a paradise for divers.
With the assistance of Zelkjo, I received this postcard from Bosnia and Hercegovina (Date: 1 February 2008). The postcard shows the view of small town Bosanska Krupa. Located at northwestern of Bosnia and Hercegovina, Bosanska Krupa was named after the name of a girl Krupana in 13th century. The town is on the banks of the Una and Krusnica rivers.
Hamad sent this beautiful postcard to me from Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. The postcard depicts Najd architecture at Al Dir'aiyah. Najd is a plateau in the centre of Arabia, south of Nafud desert. Date: January 2008.
Recently I received this beautiful postcard of Tasmania from Bron. Eventhough I have not been to Tasmania, I always have an imagination of portraying Tasmania as a misterious and yet peaceful place...... and the postcard showing Port Arthur definitely will bring me into the misterious world of Tasmania. Zelkjo sent me this nice postcard from Sisak, Croatia on 15 January 2008. The postcard shows the fortress in Sisak. Sisak is located in the centre of Croatia by the river Kupa...... I'm not sure if the river appears in the foreground of the postcard is the river Kupa.
